Lawyers should not ask juries to help their clients unless the lawyers care about their clients first. One person that understands this very well is Jerry Spence. Many lawyers are afraid to care because it would involve getting to know their client and getting too “personal” with the case. This is exactly what needs to be done in all cases. Whether it is a jury trial, a bench trial, arbitration or before an administrative review panel, a lawyer that cares will be more effective.
